To the Editor:

We have a problem in our community with a lack of leadership and poor management. The Dulles Rail project needs to go under, not over, Tysons; it is over-priced, it has taken too long, and it must be a competitive bid contract. We need to examine our $6 Billion budget and identify the excess and waste. Illegal Residents are consuming the services that our tax dollars provide for legal tax-paying residents. Prince William County has started to address this issue and we need to open our eyes to this problem, it won¹t go away on its own. We must enforce our laws that address the illegal activities related to Illegal Residents that impact our quality of life. High Density development needs to make sense and it needs to consider the impact on our community. The School Redistricting process is broken; the means by which we determine a need to redistrict is flawed. It's not being done properly and the metric must be fixed before we change boundaries, we must have a coherent plan in order to prevent our children from being treated like guinea pigs.

Unlike my Democrat opponents, I will represent all of the Hunter Mill District, not just South Reston. In spite of her attempts to obscure her party affiliation, you need only look at Marie's suggested solutions to understand on which side of the aisle she sits. Marie suggested that we implement a $.15 gas tax to address our transportation issues. She said that Illegal Immigration is a national issue. I guess Marie thinks that the Board should keep its head buried in the sand and wait for the Federal Government to fix our problems for us. I can¹t decide which would be worse, another four years with Cathy's lack of leadership and mismanagement or four years with Marie's deception and liberal perspectives.

I do not come from a political or government background, I come from the private sector; my experience will be a benefit to the residents of the Hunter Mill District. I am a former Internet Executive and now own Williams Realty, I am a member of the Fairfax County Republican Committee and the Northern Virginia Association of Realtors. The reputation I have built in my job is as a solutions guy, I hope to bring that to the Board of Supervisors.

Our District needs a fresh set of eyes, someone to step in and address the issues from a common-sense perspective and that person is me.

I am asking for your vote on November 6th.
